During my recent adventure to Kyoto, I discovered Kyoraku, a charming spot that harmonizes comfort and practicality. With ample space for our family of three—thanks to the fully equipped kitchenette and cozy sitting area—this hotel proved to be a practical base for exploring the city's beauty. The location is central; we enjoyed walks to iconic sites like Kiyomizu-dera and Gion, which were just a short stroll away. Convenience stores nearby offered easy access to snacks and drinks, perfect for fueling our travels. The room was equipped with air conditioning and good Wi-Fi, which made our stay quite pleasant. I appreciated the flat-screen TV and access to Netflix after a day of sightseeing. The owner, Alex, was particularly helpful in facilitating our needs, even managing our luggage transfer seamlessly. While Kyoraku provides essential luxury—like free toiletries and soundproofed rooms—it is also competitively priced when considering the space, amenities, and location. For those on a budget, this hotel offers a commendable balance of value and comfort.
